Who am I? Life long resident of the McLean County area. Retiree of a major employer in Bloomington where I worked 36 years in primarily technical, analytical and financial areas. My interests include spending time with family and friends, traveling, home remodeling, and focusing on my 30+ year love of real estate.

Donna is a God send...she helped me sell land in Pekin, buy a property, buy a house in Bloomington and sell a property. We were connected to Donna through a simple cold call to her agency and WOW did we win big. My mother and I had a lower cost property to sell in the Bloomington area and we were both currently living out of state, which is a challenge all on its own. "Ever decide that you want to downsize in the next five years, only to walk into a house to "look" and make an offer 15 minutes later? It sounds crazy, but that's precisely what we did in July. On a Sunday morning, I woke up to view the Zillow houses that my daughters sent to me the previous evening. When I opened one of the links, I found the unicorn house--the mythical (perfect) house that you didn't know really existed. I asked my husband if he wanted to see it, and he said, sure, why not. Five minutes later, I was on the phone with Donna Harris asking her if we could look at the house. She called me back about 10 minutes later and said that we have an appointment in two hours. We arrived at the house for our appointment, walked in, and went to the backyard; and I looked at my husband and told him I wanted to make an offer.
